We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Fractional Business Development Manager to join our team. Starting with 3 hours a week, growing to more hours, dependent on growth. £20 per hour.

Job Overview

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and driving growth initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of market trends and have experience in utilising software tools to manage client relationships effectively. Your ability to communicate persuasively and build lasting relationships will be essential to your success in this role.

Duties

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and networking.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and potential clients.

  • Create and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company objectives.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on business goals.

  • Utilise software tools to track leads, manage client interactions, and report on progress.

  • Prepare presentations and proposals tailored to client needs.

  • Attend industry events and conferences to represent the company and expand professional networks.

  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify potential threats and opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably within a relevant industry.

  • Strong proficiency in CRM software for managing customer relationships.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present ideas clearly.

  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision making.

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

  • A proactive approach with a strong desire to achieve results and exceed targets.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field is preferred but not essential.
