Mild to moderate neurological injuries, such as traumatic brain injury (TBI) or partial spinal cord injuries
Chronic conditions like arthritis, joint issues, or stable chronic pain
Reduced mobility requiring walkers, canes, or wheelchairs
Support includes mobility assistance, encouragement with rehabilitation, and safe engagement in daily activities.
2. Cognitive or Neurological Conditions
Day programs and companions support adults with:
Mild to moderate dementia, including Alzheimer’s
Mild cognitive impairment (MCI)
Early-stage Parkinson’s with cognitive changes
Stroke recovery with mild–moderate cognitive or speech challenges
Older adults with developmental or intellectual disabilities
Adults with stable brain injuries who benefit from structured daily routines
3. Mental Health Needs (Stable)
Support can be appropriate for adults managing:
Depression or anxiety (stable)
PTSD (non-crisis)
Bipolar disorder (stable, care plan-managed)
We provide social connection, meaningful engagement, and daily structure that often improve mental wellbeing.
4. Social or Functional Support Needs
Some participants benefit from companionship and structured support due to:
Social isolation
Executive functioning challenges
Grief or major life transitions
Need for routine and daily engagement while family is at work
5. Age-Related Changes
Day clubs are ideal for older adults experiencing:

We can safely support adults with conditions that are stable and do not require medical intervention:

Severe dementia with wandering or aggressive behaviours

Best Life Services are designed for adults who need:
Social engagement and companionship
Light supervision and structured daily routines
Cognitive stimulation and meaningful activities
Assistance maintaining independence after injury, diagnosis, or life changes
These services provide support and connection without intensive medical care or 24/7 supervision, helping participants live fully, safely, and with dignity.
Who We Support
At Best Life Companions and Day Clubs, we provide a supportive and engaging service for adults who need social, cognitive, or functional assistance. Our services are ideal for adults recovering from injuries, living with long-term diagnoses, or adapting to changes in abilities. While we don’t provide personal care, nursing assistance or medical interventions, we do provide preventative support so our clients can live their best lives.
