A welcoming day centre for adults living with memory loss - enjoy days filled with music, arts, movement, food and friendship, with support from trained staff.

The first 4 hour taster session is completely free of charge including lunch - a simple way to see if the club is right for your loved one.

FAQs

  • All resources, activities, a 2 course hot healthy lunch and plenty of joy. We may be required to charge a supplementary fee for our day trips.

  • Transport is available for a small supplementary charge with the community travel providers.

  • We support clients in a non medicalised way to live independently via support work. We are able to support any adult over the age of 18 no matter what their injury or diagnosis.

  • Sessions are charged upfront so we are able to make payroll costs.

  • Our sessions are 4 hours and full of fun activities.

  • We organise different activities every week including music, chair-based exercise, arts and crafts, board games and our clients enjoy interacting with each other during discussions over coffee and lunch.

    We also have visiting musicians that come and play to us live, which is always a big hit with everyone.

    We also arrange weekly intergenerational activities with the local preschool and this year we will be organising several day trips to places of interest. We often have therapy pets visit.

  • Please note we do not provide personal care or administer medication.

  • For session bookings cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice, we reserve the right to charge our normal fee depending on the client’s circumstances.

  • Either party may terminate the agreement with 14 days’ notice subject to there being no outstanding charges payable.

  • Our Club provides independence support concentrating on wellness, independence and community access. While a number of our clients do require nursing or regular medical care, we do not provide personal care. We work alongside a number of home care and care home providers but are not registered ourselves with the CQC.
